Description

.Between provinces of Bari, Brindisi and Taranto lies the wonderful Valle d'Itria, a geographical area rich in history and charm.

45 kilometers from Brindisi there is Savelletri, a splendid seaside city, where the beaches are enclosed in an embrace of suggestive rocks.

Of great interest is also the archaeological park of Egnazia, an important center of the Roman times, of which the ruins are visible.

An obligatory stop, when passing through these parts, is the suggestive Alberobello: the city has been declared a World Heritage Site since 1996 due to its characteristic trulli.

A tour guide will lead you along the maze of narrow streets surrounded by the characteristic cone-roofed houses and will satisfy your every curiosity.

The magical visit of the trulli continues in Locorotondo, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, just 10 kilometers from Alberobello. Here you will also see the cummerse features, rectangular houses with sloping roofs, and endless rows of vines.

There will be tastings of local products and wines, immersed in suggestive bucolic settings, far from the chaos of the city, surrounded by centuries-old olive trees and fruit trees.

After arriving independently at Agriturismo I Pozzetti (or a similar establishment), you will be welcomed with a nice welcome drink and given the keys to your room.

Dinner is free, and we recommend relying on the chef of the agriturismo.

DAY 2

In the morning, you can enjoy a hearty breakfast at Agriturismo I Pozzetti (or a similar place) before heading to Alberobello, which is just a half-hour drive from the property. There, you will meet your expert, certified guide recognized by the Puglia Region, who will tell you about the origins and legends of this extraordinary town, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

You will stroll among the trulli, ancient conical stone buildings, craft shops, artisanal weaving stores, bars, and restaurants.

Lunch and dinner are not included, but we recommend tasting an amazing menu at the “Il Trullo d’Oro” restaurant, which never loses sight of seasonal products and Apulian flavors. You will be embraced by the cozy walls of a group of 15th-century trulli, enjoying the refined and romantic atmosphere of a high-class restaurant.

Day 3
Day 3

After breakfast, you can visit Cisternino, a wonderful and ancient city. The whitewashed houses stand out against the blue sky and are adorned with beautiful flowered balconies. Must-see places include the Norman-Swabian watchtower and the Church of San Nicola (also known as Chiesa Madre), beneath which the remains of an 8th-century Basilian church are visible.

As you wander through the town's streets, you will encounter local artisans producing characteristic wooden or stone crafts and woven wicker baskets.

The city center is full of restaurants and taverns where you can enjoy local specialties. Lunch is not included.

The afternoon stop is Locorotondo, one of Italy's most beautiful towns, perched on a hill with its white houses reflecting the Apulian sunlight.

Surrounding the town, vineyards stretch as far as the eye can see, and it is in these fertile lands that the prestigious wine of the same name is produced.

After a free walk through the charming town, we will offer you a sublime gastronomic experience in this breathtaking setting: a relaxing apericena in a terraced vineyard overlooking the Itria Valley, seated on bales of hay, during which you can enjoy a Rural Aperitif with the taste of Apulian countryside, accompanied by a glass of Locorotondo DOC.
