Discovering Pescara and the "Trabocchi" Coast

Rent a car at Pescara city center station. Accommodation in the hotel, an orientation tour to discover the "Sea bridge", the seafront and the marina. The promenade has a beautiful bike path and a pleasant walk leads to the modern Bridge of the sea, symbol of the city. Free lunch and afternoon visits dedicated to the Basilica of Santa Maria dei Sette Dolori, religious, historical and cultural landmark for the city of Pescara, and the Cathedral of San Cetteo. Free dinner and return to the hotel for overnight.

After breakfast, you will reach La Costa dei "Trabocchi" which develops along the Adriatic coast between Ortona and Vasto. Trabocchi are ancient fishing machines installed on stilts once used for small fishing, now converted to restaurants. Free lunch and in the afternoon relax to discover the Trabocchi for lovers of photography chance to immortalize the really fascinating shots between the different locations along the way. Free dinner and return to Pescara for overnight.

After breakfast, half a day dedicated to the discovery of Vasto where walking along the historic center you can visit the Caldoresco Castle, Rossetti Square and Barbacani Square, the Palace D'Avalos and the Bassano Tower.

Return to Pescara, release of the car at the parking of the city center station. Free lunch and in the afternoon visit of the Old Pescara, visit the Native house of Gabriele d'Annunzio and the Museum “Genti d'Abruzzo”. Free dinner and return to the hotel for overnight.
