Maranello (Maranèl in Modena dialect) is an Italian town in the province of Modena in Emilia-Romagna, located south of the capital. Since 1943 it has been the headquarters of the Ferrari factory, a prestigious luxury sports car manufacturer founded by Enzo Ferrari from Modena.
Located in the centre of the Po Valley, Piacenza is located on the right bank of the Po River, just 67 km from Milan. The end point of the ancient Via Emilia, the city is located in the northernmost and western part of the Emilia-Romagna region.
Arrival in Modena by own means, accommodation in a 4* hotel in Maranello and then Tour of Modena + visit to a balsamic vinegar cellar. On this tour of Modena we will explore some of the must of the city, including Piazza Grande and Palazzo Ducale, and we will participate in a tasting of balsamic vinegar. We will be in front of the main entrance of Modena train station at the indicated time. Please arrive 10 minutes in advance.
We recommend that you wear comfortable clothing and shoes, bring a pair of sunglasses, a hat in summer, a pair of gloves and a jacket in winter.

They deserve to be admired: the Romanesque Basilica of Sant'Antonino with the Porta del Paradiso, a stop for pilgrims along the Via Francigena, the church of Santa Maria di Campagna, which preserves the beautiful frescoes of Pordenone, and the Basilica of San Savino, with an incredible mosaic floor of the twelfth century in the crypt, in which the cycle of the months is depicted.
