Stone arches accompany us to the Dentice Castle of Frasso, the highest point of the city, where stood the acropolis surrounded by cyclopean walls to prevent any attacks on the city. Do not miss the Mother Church dedicated to the Assumption and the Church of St. Anna built as a chapel by the Imperial family in the 18th century. Do not miss the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Belvedere, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy a suggestive view from its patio, thanks to the strategic position of the Sanctuary on a hilly relief overlooking a tavoliere cultivated with olive trees. It is worth discovering the surroundings of this city because they will give you the opportunity to discover small architectural and natural treasures. An example could be the Santa Sabina Tower, with a "priest’s hat" shape, built as a control tower of the port. 

Among the natural sights to discover there is definitely the Nature Reserve of Torre Guaceto, a protected marine area just a few kilometers away from Carovigno. The reserve stands out for its variety of natural habitats that integrate harmoniously, preserving intact the local landscape. Here you can admire agricultural plains surrounded by dry stone walls with orchards and olive trees, a system of coastal dunes, vast areas of Mediterranean scrub and much more, offering a precious refuge to a rich biodiversity. With its 15 km of coastline, Carovigno boasts a sea that offers a wide range of bathing experiences. You can opt for the renowned beach of Torre Guaceto, protected and characterized by a fascinating mix of easily accessible rocks and soft sand. If you prefer the golden beaches with a calm sea, the resort of Pantanagianni in the marina of Carovigno is ideal. Among the other unmissable beaches we remember the Mezzaluna, the particular beach of Scoglio del Cavallo in Santa Sabina and the wide expanses of Punta Penna Grossa. 

Discover the Valle d'Itria, known as the Valle dei Trulli, which stretches between the provinces of Bari, Brindisi and Taranto and includes the municipalities of Alberobello, Carovigno, Martina Franca, Ostuni and many others. Perhaps due to the whiteness of its buildings or the rich vegetation that surrounds them, each village in the Itria Valley exudes a magical and almost surreal atmosphere. An unmissable place is Alberobello, famous for its trulli, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1996. Walking through the streets of Monti and Aja Piccola is a truly fascinating experience. Here you will find Cisternino, which stands in the so-called "Murgia dei Trulli", together with the nearby Locorotondo, among the most beautiful villages of Italy. Another important stop are the Castellana Caves and the White Cave. 

Do not miss Brindisi, a province of Puglia and port city in the north of Salento that boasts one of the most important ports in Italy. 

Discover Ostuni, known as "the White City", a village located on the southeastern slopes of the Murgia famous for its historic center characterized by buildings and houses of white lime.
