CNA - An Experience in the Heart of Gran Paradiso

In the Heart of Gran Paradiso: E-bike Sorresamont, Trekking to Marmotte Refuge, Croce di Legno, Visit to the Village of Rhêmes-Saint-Georges

Our journey will begin on our e-bikes with a guided tour to discover the Val di Rhemes, cycling through forests, villages, and scenic viewpoints of the surrounding peaks. After a relaxing picnic, we will continue our ride towards Introd, a strategically located place for exploring the entire area. Once we set our bikes aside, we will proceed with a visit to the Maison Bruil food museum, where a leap into the past will reveal how farmers used to live. Here, we will be welcomed by guides dressed in traditional 19th-century attire, who will show us how food preservation techniques have evolved over the centuries.

At the end of the visit, typical products can be purchased from Tascapan, a dedicated shop within the museum. The day will be enriched with a dinner featuring traditional Aosta Valley dishes at the restaurant Le Barmé de l’Ours, in a warm and welcoming setting.

On the second day, we will hike the trails connecting the hamlets of Rhêmes-Notre-Dame to the lake and the Pellaud waterfalls, where we will enjoy a scenic picnic. On our way back, we will visit the village of Rhêmes-Saint-Georges, where a tasting of typical products from the Estrela Berger dairy will complete our journey of discovering the region.
