A chiusura del 2025, anno di celebrazioni in città verrà organizzato un grande evento in occasione del Solstizio d’inverno, momento astronomico sul quale è orientata Augusta Prætoria: un appuntamento ormai atteso dalla cittadinanza, abituata a ritrovarsi in via Croce di Città per attendere il Sole che, solo nei giorni tra il 21 e il 23 dicembre, sorge perfettamente allineato sull’antico Cardo Maximus.

Una serie di eventi diffusi in città caratterizzerà questo particolare momento di chiusura delle celebrazioni.

About the destination

Aosta is the principal city of Aosta Valley, a bilingual region in the Italian Alps, north-northwest of Turin. It is situated near the Italian entrance of the Mont Blanc Tunnel, at the confluence of the Buthier and the Dora Baltea, and at the junction of the Great and Little St. Bernard routes.
